Summer vacation should be fun - not a struggle. For thousands of kids it means a greater chance of going hungry. For families facing food insecurity, summer is a struggle without school meal programs.

You can help by joining KOMO News and Food Lifeline to help tackle summer hunger. Make a donationHERE.

Average family grocery costs can rise more than $300 a month when school is out. With inflation, that number could be higher. But your generosity will help. Yourdonation will help Food Lifeline get food to more than 400 food banks and programs across western Washington.

Thanks to our returning sponsor Ford, Genesis, Hyundai of Kirkland. and new sponsorPro Roofing Northwest - Covering you with quality and excellence.
