Normally, the Seahawks hold a press conference the day after any game to wrap up what head coach Mike Macdonald saw on film and to answer any lingering questions from the game.

This week, assistant coach Leslie Frazier handled the press conference for the most exciting reason.

Macdonald got the call that his wife Stephanie appeared to be in labor with the couple's first child, according to Seahawks Chief Communications Officer Dave Pearson. So, Macdonald immediately left the facility to be present for such a special time.

Frazier, as a father of three, said he's very excited for Macdonald and his family at this time.

When asked how long Frazier expects to be holding down the fort while Macdonald is away, Frazier reminded everyone how different every experience of this nature can be and offered excitement and prayers to the family.

Certainly, everyone is doing that for the Macdonald’s.

We'll pass along any new information as it comes in from the team.
