SEATTLE — A roller coaster November is just about over for the Seahawks, with their next game not kicking off until Dec. 1st (next Sunday) at the New York Jets.
A month of transformation.
It's often said in the college game the ones in November are the ones they remember, but the Seahawks went from down and out to some back on Nov. 3rd to 1st place in the NFC West with everything in front of them here at the end of the month.

It's an incredible turnaround, so the question has to be asked:
Winning two in a row to improve to 6-5 is hardly cause for a parade but it is worth being excited about considering it's two wins to vault the Seahawks into first place.
It's true that the NFC West is down this year but ultimately it won't matter to whichever team wins the division to punch their ticket to the playoffs.
As far as the Seahawks turnaround? It could very well be the start of something special, according to Mike Macdonald.
"A credit goes to our coaches and our players and everyone in the building of just understanding what we're trying to build and just when it's not that way, then you just hammer away and just go to work and work on our processes and try to figure out schematically what we're good at, putting our guys in better situations. It's just everybody working together all the time, staying together, trusting the process. Then you have games where you feel like you played pretty good and helped the team win the game, but it's about consistency. Three games in a row now we played pretty decent on defense. There is an expectation and standard here throughout the course of our Seahawks history that we're trying to live up to and build on. So that's the idea" Macdonald said.
No question about it, the defense has found something, holding Arizona to just six points on Sunday.
If that truly is the start of something we'll see the rest of the way, look out.
Big Cat is a Big Deal
Leonard Williams is an elite talent.
Acquired by the Seahawks from the Giants last year for a 2nd round pick in April's draft, Williams has ensured the Seahawks made out well on that trade.
He's a leader in the locker room and a menace on the defensive line.
Just ask Kyler Murray.
"He got going today, along with it's a good defense, a great defense. We knew that coming in" Murray said.
Big Cat's coach, Mike Macdonald elaborated a bit. "I thought he was dominant. I knew he played great and then I looked at the stat line and he played out of his mind," he said.
That stat line? 2.5 sacks, 4 tackles for loss and just flat out dominating, as Macdonald said.
"Yeah, not many like him walking the planet, and I'm glad he's on our team," Macdonald said.
"He's a heck of a guy. He's leading the charge in the defensive front room as well with J. Reed (Jarran Reed). J. Reed played really well. John Hankins, all the veterans are helping build the camaraderie in that room. They're playing together and rushing together and coaches are doing a great job leading as well" Macdonald added.
“I think that definitely was my most dominant game since being a part of the Seahawks. It was interesting because I woke up this morning with a great feeling and pretty much everyone I approached before the game, I told them I’ve got a good feeling about this game. It wasn’t directed toward my personal success, it was directed toward the team’s success. I just had a great feeling about it. I just had great energy out there today and it showed" Leonard Williams said after the game.
All in all, the Seahawks have given up a combined 23 points in their last two games, both wins. In the previous two games (both losses) they gave up a combined 54 points.
The best part? The Big Cat is signed to stay for years to come.
Heading into Sunday's game with Arizona, the Seahawks had lost four straight games at Lumen Field. Something so uncharacteristic but something also the Seahawks made a priority to fix.
Order restored.
"That was a big win. Felt like a playoff atmosphere. I thought the crowd was amazing. Just felt like our team was locked in and focused the entire game" said Geno Smith.
"We won the game, which is awesome. The fans were fricking awesome. 12s were rocking. The place was bouncing. It was an awesome atmosphere. Just the way we wanted it" said Macdonald.
More than 68,000 fans had Lumen Field rocking indeed, I can tell you I felt the press box shake when Coby Bryant was returning his 69-yard interception for a touchdown. It speaks volumes to how much this town loves this team.
How much they're craving a return to playoff glory we saw consistently in the not-so-distant past.
With Sunday's win, with a lot of work to go, the Seahawks took a big step towards getting back to that stage.
